How America Tours works

All tickets that are purchased are valid only on the date and time stipulated at the time of purchase.

If you want to change your bus schedule we can help you by reissuing your ticket to another schedule (subject to availability) but there will be a fee for the change. We recommend arriving at the terminal an hour early since the boarding begins 15 to 30 minutes before departure time.

America Tours have buses traveling at any time of the day, so if you are traveling in the morning you can enjoy the surroundings through our panoramic windows or if you choose to travel during the night you can relax and sleep in our reclining seats that offer the necessary comfort to relax and enjoy the trip.

All times itineraries are based on local time zones.

Relax and enjoy your trip

All units of America Tours are equipped with air conditioning, bathroom, reclining seats with headrests, footrests and tinted windows. It has room enough to use reading material, headphones and small pillows for comfort. Food and non-alcoholic beverages can be on the bus for consumption during the trip.

As for electronic equipment such as radios, portable computers and others may be on board as long as it doesn’t disturb the other passengers and have to be used with headphones (charging outlets are not available on buses).

America Tours says no to discrimination

The allocation of seats on board is done without regard to race, color, or nationalities likewise offer the best service to all our users and support customers with special needs.


For the safety and comfort of all passengers, we have the following restriction policies:

  • Smoking on buses is prohibited.
  • Zero tolerance to alcohol, drugs and weapons on the bus.
  • Zero tolerance to behaviors that disturb the peace and annoy passengers.
  • Filming or photograph America Tour’s staff as well as our procedures and equipment is prohibited.
  • You must remain seated while the bus is in motion.

Dogs, cats, birds and other animals are not allowed inside the bus. However assistance dogs trained for the purpose of accompanying a disabled person can travel with his owner without paying any additional charge.


Traveling into the United States from México

Into force on June 1, 2009, all US citizens entering the United States by land or sea must present documentation that meets Initiative Western Hemisphere Travel (WHTI Initiative), in general, a US passport, passport card, card “trusted traveler” such as NEXUS, SENTRI or FAST or enhanced driver’s license. Customer’s minors (up to 15 years) must only provide proof of citizenship (birth certificate, naturalization or citizenship card). Customers 18 or younger traveling with a school, religious group, sports team or other organized group under adult supervision and with the consent of their parents or guardians must present proof of citizenship (birth certificates, naturalization or citizenship card).

The passengers without proper documentation according to the WHTI Initiative may not board the bus because they will be denied entry into the United States. We will not provide the transfer back to the place of origin of the trip.

The luggage is subject to revisions to pass any borders. Passengers are asked about some prohibited items to pass through the border. America Tour is not responsible for any luggage transported across the border. Passengers must claim their entire luggage across the border before the review process. no baggage that has not been claimed by its owner not transport.

Passengers, who are denied entry to other countries, must buy another ticket back to its original destination.
